(…without a dope beat to step to, a little Aaliyah for your Saturday)
Salut tout le monde! Quois de neuf? Well over here there's been lots of things going on, too much to recount really but the main thing is I'm back-ish. It's Hallowe'en Season and I wish everyone a spooky good time despite the horrors, and boy are there horrors. but we do our best, or whatever we can despite the clear-cutting of 850 trees at Ontario Place, the myriad of stupid plans by Doug -the demon- Ford and the multiple genocides being enacted on the Congolese, Palestinians, Lebanese, Sudanese and the hostile attempted takeover of Haiti all by the West for greed and profit.
I am proud to say I am typing this on a refurbished computer (with a DVD drive YAY!) that I purchased, rather inexpensively at https://www.freegeektoronto.org/ Where you can avoid upgrading your phone or buying a new computer I strongly STRONGLY recommend. The kids in The Congo deserve better than to be stuck in mines at the whims of our Western greed, plus reduce, reuse, recycle was supposed to be more than a catch phrase.
On the Tarot front, if you're in the city and need a reading I'm at Swan Dive on Dundas West every Tuesday Evening this October and at The Grand Trunk in Parkdale most Fridays or Saturday Nights for your Tarot Reading pleasure. If you're looking for answers to those light or dark questions or looking for a flashlight into your soul? Voila! Look no further.
On the Hallowe'en front I'm still oscillating between costumes and have yet to fully commit to one but I'll get there. Wishing you all the spookiest for this season but most especially to those who deserve to see justice served.
I'll be back with a list of my favourite Horror films for the season but in the meantime you may as well give Scream 1-6 a run through. I must admit I've seen Scream 6 about five times in the past month, it is absolutely becoming a favourite. Well that's about all for now, catch you on the flip side!
